Benefits For Family and Randolph-Macon College

There are several types of plans. Many of these have wonderful benefits for the gift donors. Many R-MC families have enjoyed increased income and generous tax savings. You might start by meeting these friends. Just click on the picture and you can view each story.

Pat Hanback, '75
Being the only woman in a Randolph-Macon classroom was not uncommon for Pat Hanback, '75. After all, it was the early 1970s and coeducation at R-MC was in its infancy. Hanback, a philosophy major and Phi Beta Kappa student from Plainfield, NJ, was one of only 50 females in a student body of about 900. More on Pat Hanback, '75 >>.

George Brown Oliver '49
George Oliver can reflect on a connection with Randolph-Macon that spans more then 60 years, beginning in the late 1930s when he was a young boy watching the Randolph-Macon football team from the sidelines. More on George Brown Oliver '49 >>.

Edward G. Dinwiddie '51
Ed Dinwiddie likes to make moves that feel right. A former U.S. Air Force pilot, he took up downhill skiing at age 50, and then renewed his pilot's license at 51. About that same time, he built and began operating Trillium House, a country inn at Wintergreen Resort in Virginia's Nelson County. More on Edward G. Dinwiddie '51 >>.

Southey Thompson '94
His connections with Randolph-Macon College began more than 150 years ago. Southey Thompson's great-great-grandfather, Dr. Rev. John E. Edwards, served as a member of the Board of Advisors in the late 1860s when the college moved from Boydton to Ashland. More on Southey Thompson '94 >>.
